Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former Finance Minister Miftah Ismail and other leaders have launched a new political party named Awam Pakistan Party.
In this regard, a ceremony was held in Islamabad in which Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Miftah Ismail, former governor’s Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, former federal health minister Dr. Zafar Mirza, former provincial minister Punjab Zaeem Qadri and other political leaders participated.
The slogan of the new political party, Awam Pakistan Party, has been kept as “Badilenge Nizam”, the color of the party’s flag has been kept green and blue, in which the name of the party is written in white.
Member Announcing Committee Fatima Atif said that intra-party elections of the party were held on June 19, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was elected as the convener of the party, Miftah Ismail was elected as the secretary.
