New York: A gunman opened fire at a general store in the United States, killing 3 people and seriously injuring 10 people, including 2 policemen.
According to a foreign news agency, a shooting incident took place in the city of Fordyce in the American state of Arkansas. Where an armed person entered the general store and fired indiscriminately at the people present there.
The people in the store were injured by bullets, out of which 3 civilians died on the spot.
After the firing incident, a heavy contingent of local police also reached the spot and completely cordoned off the area. The assailant was also arrested by the police. The police shifted the bodies of the citizens and the injured to the hospital.
It should be noted that 234 mass shooting incidents have been reported in the United States since the beginning of 2024. According to the American Gun Violence Archive definition, an incident in which at least 4 people in addition to the attacker are shot will be considered a mass shooting.
