An 11-member steering committee has been established for the development program of the merged districts, Rana Sanaullah has been appointed as the chairman.

The Prime Minister established an 11-member steering committee for the development program of the merged districts. Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah was appointed as the Chairman of the Committee.

According to the statement, the committee will create consensus on the measures and reforms related to the budget and PSDP, besides ensuring the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Special Program for Merged Districts.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, Law Minister Aftab Alam, Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Additional Chief Secretary will be part of the planning committee.

Apart from this, Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Maqam, Murtaza Javed Abbasi, MNA Muhammad Yusuf Zaman, former MPA Akhtar Wali will also be members of the committee.
