Islamabad: The federal government has proposed to allocate 25 billion 75 crores for the federal ministry of education in the budget of the next financial year, giving evidence of its friendship with education.
The budget of the Ministry of Education has been increased by an extraordinary 204 percent. According to the officials, 2 billion have been allocated under the Pakistan National Endowment Fund, the funds for establishing Danish schools in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan have been increased from 50 crore to 5 billion.
It should be noted that last year only 8 billion 50 crores were allocated for the Ministry of Education.
