Multan: Two policemen were martyred during an encounter with robbers in Rahim Yar Khan area of Multan.
According to details, in Rahim Yar Khan, Shidani Sharif police officers had a fight with dacoits, in which two officers were martyred in two-way firing.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar asked RPO Bahawalpur for the report of the incident and directed the immediate arrest of the accused. The martyred officials were identified as Constable Shafiq Ahmed and Constable Zeeshan.
After the incident, a heavy police force reached the spot while the investigating officers collected the evidence.
The police has tightened the surveillance process on the entry and exit routes to arrest the accused involved in the incident so that the accused can be caught.
