ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office says that movement on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border should be under visa.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said in a media briefing that those who want to come to Pakistan from Afghanistan should have a visa and an Afghan passport. Transit and movement across Pak-Afghan border should be under visa.
The spokesman further said that yesterday Pakistan was elected as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. Laws of Pakistan guarantee human rights. On the reaction of other governments, it is said that Pakistan takes the implementation of its constitution seriously.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is on an official visit to China. 23 Memoranda of Understanding were signed after discussions at delegation level. In the meetings, security of Chinese citizens in Pakistan was discussed. The Prime Minister has also attended a business conference in Shenzhen.
