Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah was appointed as the Crown Prince of Kuwait.
According to Arab media, the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, issued a decree and appointed Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah as the Crown Prince.
71-year-old Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah is considered one of the senior figures of Kuwait’s ruling family, Al-Sabah.
Former diplomat Sheikh Sabah Al Khalid has served as Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Information and Head of the National Security Agency.
