KARACHI: Along with the increase in the price of gold in the global market, the price of gold per toli has also been slightly increased in the local market.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce increased by 7 dollars to 2342 dollars.
In the local bullion markets, the price of 24 carat gold per tola increased by Rs 500 to Rs 241,700 and the price of gold per 10 grams also increased by Rs 429 to Rs 207,219.
The representatives of the bullion market say that in view of the impact of purchasing power in the local bullion markets and the significant reduction in gold trading activities, the local price of gold has been kept undercast by 3000 rupees instead of the increase in the global price.
In contrast to the rise in gold prices, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 2900 and the price of silver per 10 grams remained unchanged at Rs 2486.28.
