Mumbai: A complaint of cheating, fraud and extortion has been filed against Bollywood star Sunny Deol.
According to Indian media, the police have also issued a notice to Sunny Deol, but his team has excused his presence as the actor is out of town.
Film producer Saru Gupta has accused the actor of transferring crores of rupees to the actor’s account for a film project in 2016 but the film could not be launched.
According to Saru Gupta, despite not starting the film, Sunny Deol kept demanding money from him and after the success of Ghadar 2, he has lost contact with the producer.
The producer also accused the actor of falsifying his contract and changing Rs 40 million to Rs 80 million.
It should be noted that since 2000, Sunny Deol’s showbiz career has been very bad and in 2023, his film ‘Ghadr 2’ achieved great success and the actor has started getting new films.
