ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has set up 4 technical committees to implement the tax system digitization project to prevent tax evasion and expand the tax net.
The committees will provide technical input to the consultant firm, the terms office references for the committees have also been issued. IRS will provide its technical support to the consulting firm on track and trace system, point of sale integration and digital invoicing for supply chain digitization.
Among the members are Abbas Ahmed Mir, Abdul Jawad, Zaheer Qureshi, Iqbal Khan, Munir Ahmed Chaudhry, Khalid Sultan, Qayyum Rani, Ahmed Shakeel, Abdul Rehman and Faheem Ahmed. , Muhammad Sulaiman, Bilal Qasim, Miss Sajal, Faizan Zaidi and Muhammad Ashraf, the third ten-member committee has been constituted for digitization of business processes.
It includes Irshad Hussain, Jibran Masroor, Javed Iqbal, Asif Rasheed, Azhar Jahangir, Nafisa Bano, Bilal Zameer, Zahra Farooq and Mehwish Khan while the fourth seven-member committee was established for third-party data integration, data analytics and CRM. Among them are Yasmin Yusuf, Umar Riaz, Rafia Ilyas, Masood Gursi, Benish Urooj, Usman Rashid.
