LAHORE: Wijdan Rao, who modeled in the viral song ‘Akh Lali Budobdi’ with self-proclaimed singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, who rose to fame on social media for his raunchy songs, has said that acting in the song was the highlight of his life. It was a big mistake.
Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s song ‘Akh Lali Badobdi’ was released on YouTube last month, which immediately went viral in India as well as Pakistan, and within just one month, the YouTube video of this song has received 20 million views.
Chahat Fateh Ali’s song has also become a trend on various social media platforms like Tik Tok and Instagram, while funny memes are also being created on the song which are going viral.
Model Wijdan Rao, who starred opposite Chahat Fateh Ali Khan in the song, recently admitted in an interview that acting in the song ‘Akh Lali Budobdi’ was the biggest mistake of her life for which she I am very sorry.
Wijdan Rao said that I had already recorded five songs with Chahat Fateh Ali Khan before this song, for four of which I made my own video and sent it to Chahat Fateh Ali Khan in London, then the singer edited it. Made me a part of my songs while shooting one song with the singer.
The model said that the shooting of the song ‘Akh Lali Badobdi’ was done in Pakistan and I had no idea that this song would become so viral, but after the success of the song, I am being severely criticized on social media.
He said that social media users are taunting me that I worked with a person of my grandfather’s age, people are using inappropriate words for me.
Vijdan Rao took a dig at the criticism of social media users and added that I had worked with Chahat Fateh Ali Khan in ‘Akh Leli Badobdi’ to entertain people.
