The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, has issued a decree for the formation of a new cabinet headed by Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The names of 13 ministers have been announced for the Kuwaiti cabinet, including 2 women. has been set.
Dr. Imad Muhammad Abdul Aziz Al-Atiqi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Petroleum, Abdul Rahman Badah Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture, Dr. Abdul Wahab Ahmed Al-Awadi, Minister of Health, Dr. Anwar Ali Abdullah Al-Muzaf, Minister of Finance, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Dr. Adel Muhammad Abdullah Al-Adwani, Minister of Education, Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Noura Muhammad Khalid Al-Mashaan will be the Minister of Public Works and Municipalities, Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Wasmi will be the Minister of Justice, Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
Apart from this, Umar Saud Abdul Aziz Al-Omar has been given the portfolio of Trade and Industry, Dr. Mahmood Busheri has been given the portfolio of Water, Electricity, Renewable Energy and Housing, while Dr. Amol Haif Al-Hawaila has been given the portfolio of Social Affairs, Labor and Youth Affairs.
It should be remembered that the Emir of Kuwait on Friday dissolved the National Assembly and announced the suspension of certain provisions of the constitution for 4 years.
