The Lahore Bar Association is protesting outside the Lahore High Court against the terrorism cases against the lawyers, while the police have lathi-charged and shelled the protesters with tear gas.
The rally of the Lahore Bar Association reached the Lahore High Court and tried to enter the building, on which the police arrested many of the protesting lawyers.
Later, a heavy contingent of police closed the main gate of the Lahore High Court building and erected barricades.
