LAHORE: Ehsanullah’s career tampering confirmed, inquiry committee points out wrong diagnosis and treatment of injury.
The PCB medical staff was accused of misdiagnosis after Ehsanullah’s elbow injury worsened, Chairman Board Mohsin Naqvi said while forming an independent inquiry committee to examine the injuries of Ehsanullah, Arshad Iqbal and Zeeshan Zameer. If any lapse is identified, strict action will be taken against those responsible.
Yesterday, the report of the inquiry committee was received, in which it was stated that the treatment and operation of Ehsanullah was not correct, the problems were also caused due to the extraordinary delay in the diagnosis, and the condition was not taken into consideration in the subsequent rehabilitation process.

Director Medical and Sports Sciences Sohail Saleem recommended hiring an unqualified surgeon, in which case he did not need surgery.
After a complete examination of Ehsanullah on his return home, rehabilitation work can be done with the help of relevant specialists, he will need continuous physiotherapy, if there is no recovery in 6 months to a year, then an operation will be considered. Similarly, a 2-month rehabilitation program has been suggested to Arshad Iqbal.
Zeeshan Zameer has been advised to get his feet and ankles examined by a specialist, Shawwal Zulfikar was asked to undergo a CT scan of his shoulder. He was also removed from the position on the issue of corona cases in SL, he was returned during the tenure of former chairman PCB Management Committee, Zaka Ashraf.
