Islamabad: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has taken notice of the issue of illegal recruitment in the National Assembly Secretariat.
According to the sources, a letter has been received from NAB to the National Assembly Secretariat in which the details of the recruitments to be made in the National Assembly Secretariat from 2018 to March 2024 have been sought.
In the letter, the details of the recruitments made during the tenures of former Speaker Asad Qaiser and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf have been sought, the recruitment procedure from 2018 to March 2024 has been sought and whether the recruitments have been approved by the Ministry of Finance. Or not.
Are tests and interviews conducted for recruitment or not? Recruitment advertisements published in newspapers or not.
It has been directed to give separate details regarding daily wages, contract and permanent employees. The complete data of recruitments during the tenure of both the former speakers is being compiled.
