Mumbai: Indian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had promised to pay Rs 4 lakh to the accused for shooting at Bollywood star Salman Khan’s residence.
Another suspect involved in the Salman Khan shooting case was detained from Haryana on the night of April 17. According to police sources, the man acted as a liaison between the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and the shooters.
The police said that the investigation of the two accused Vicky Gupta and Sagar, who fired at Salman Khan’s residence, is ongoing.
The accused said that out of this amount one lakh rupees was given as an advance before the firing while three lakh rupees was to be received after the execution of the work.
Both the accused told during investigation that the purpose of firing was not to kill Salman Khan but to scare the actor and his family.
It should be noted that at 5 am on April 14, 2 armed men on a motorcycle fired three rounds outside Salman Khan’s residence Galaxy Apartment in Bandra area of Mumbai and then the two men escaped.
Later, the Mumbai police arrested the two suspects, according to the police, Vicky Gupta and Sagar, who fired at Salman Khan’s house, were arrested from Bhoj in Gujarat state, both of them belong to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
