Rawalpindi: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s arrest warrant has been canceled and bail has been granted in cases related to May 9 incidents.
Cases related to the May 9 tragedy were heard in the Anti-Terrorism Court, in which Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur appeared. Strict security arrangements were made in the court on this occasion.
During the hearing, Judge Malik Ijaz Asif canceled the arrest warrant on the appearance of Chief Minister KPK Ali Amin Gandapur. Similarly, in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Raja Faisal Rasheed, interim bail was granted against Chief Minister KPK Ali Amin Gandapur in the Chairman PTI reception case in Nasirabad police station.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has been approved in 13 cases of May 9 tragedy. The court, while granting bail on personal sureties, sought the records of the cases from the SHOs of all the police stations.
