Karachi: A rickshaw driver was killed in a fight between children in the Quaidabad area due to firing by unknown persons.
The family of a rickshaw driver who lost his life due to bullet injury during a dispute in Landhi Majeed Colony Sector One has demanded justice from the higher authorities.
Rashid, the elder brother of the slain rickshaw driver Mohsin, said that his younger brother was killed by firing. My brother was coming home in a rickshaw when the unknown accused opened fire during the children’s fight, as a result of which my younger brother was shot.
He said that during the quarrel, when the firing took place, my brother ran away from there. Meanwhile, someone fired from behind, and a bullet hit my brother in the back, which proved to be fatal.
The victim’s brother further said that the police is cooperating and he hopes that he will get justice. The neighbor of the deceased says that he came out of the house after hearing the noise and found that the firing incident took place during the children’s fight. The elders of the neighborhood were also tortured and vandalized by the firing elements.
He said that the deceased’s wife also died 3 months ago. The deceased was the father of a son. We demand from the government to provide justice to the family of the victim.
