Lahore: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has said that the Pakistani leadership is giving preference to foreign investment instead of aid.
Addressing the ceremony in the provincial capital, he spoke about Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Saudi Arabia and said that the economic conditions of the country are improving. The Saudi Crown Prince has announced an investment of 5 billion dollars.
Attaullah Tarar said that Saudi Arabia wants long-lasting relations with Pakistan. Saudi media gave special coverage to the Prime Minister’s visit. The federal minister said that we do not want credit but trade. Pakistani leadership has preferred investment over aid. After the announcement of investment of 5 billion dollars by Saudi Arabia, there has been a significant increase in the stock exchange.
He said that efforts will continue to improve the system. We want to improve the system. The government is giving special attention to privatization.
