KARACHI: An incident has come to light in Shahr Quaid that the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) kidnapped a citizen and released him with a ransom of two lakh rupees. Not done.
According to the details, on March 30, plainclothes officers picked up citizen Atif Aslam in a police mobile from Gulshan Iqbal University Road. Torture continued.
For the release of the citizen, a deal of 15 lakh rupees was settled for 5 lakh rupees. The citizen was taken from an unknown place to the bank of Mehmoodabad. The citizen was released on the next day.
