London: A British newspaper has revealed that India ordered the killing of 20 people in Pakistan.
The report of the British newspaper The Guardian revealed that the Modi government had planned the killing of many people in Pakistan. Documents shared by Pakistani and Indian intelligence officials and Pakistan’s investigative authorities show how India’s intelligence agency RAW launched its overseas assassination operations after 2019.
The latest allegations are related to the killing of 20 people by unknown armed assailants in Pakistan since 2020. The Indian intelligence agency RAW is directly controlled by the office of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is serving a third term. They are contesting elections this month.
Interviews with intelligence agency officials bolstered allegations that India pursued a policy of targeting individuals abroad whom India considers its enemies. According to reports, the US and Canada disagreed. India has been held responsible for the killing of persons including Sikh separatists.
The British newspaper says that among the documents seen for the preparation of the report, there are allegations of direct involvement of RAW in the killings in Pakistan. Pakistani investigators say that Ra’s sleeper cells, which were being operated from abroad, were behind the killings.
