Cape Town: An international team of astronomers discovered 49 galaxies in just 3 hours with the help of the MeerKAT radio telescope in South Africa.

The team was led by the International Center for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) researcher Marcin Glowecki, who initially looked for star-forming gas in a galaxy but then examined the data.
