Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his displeasure over the use of red carpet in official events. The Prime Minister banned red carpets for protocol at all official events.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed that in future, red carpet will not be used for federal ministers and government officials, only protocol red carpet will be allowed in diplomatic events.
In this regard, the Cabinet Division has issued a notification.
