In a statement on social media, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Muslim extremists are responsible for the attack on the concert hall in Moscow.
The Russian president further said that it is yet to be ascertained who ordered the attack, but it is clear that Ukraine has a role in the massacre. Muslim extremists carried out this attack under the ideology that under the influence of the Muslim world has fought wars for centuries.
President Putin said that the question arises as to who benefited from this attack. The purpose of this horrific attack was to spread fear and chaos among the people and to show the people of Ukraine that the Ukrainian government has not lost everything.
139 people were killed and dozens injured in the attack during the concert in Moscow.
