Saudi Arabia has issued new guidelines regarding the performance of Umrah in view of the arrival of more pilgrims and pilgrims than expected during Ramadan.
According to Saudi media, due to the extraordinary increase in the number of people wishing to perform Umrah in Ramadan, permits will not be issued to perform Umrah a second time during these holy days.
Under this new Umrah policy, the request for permission to perform Umrah for the second time by the same person in the application for Umrah registration will now be rejected.
In addition, the Saudi government extended the Umrah visa period from 30 days to 90 days.
In a statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, it is said that the purpose of this decision is to give as many people as possible the opportunity to achieve the happiness of Umrah in this holy month.
This will not cause unnecessary crowding in the holy mosques and worshipers will be able to worship with convenience and ease, the statement said.
It should be remembered that during the last one week, 52 lakh 25 thousand 231 visitors came to the Prophet’s Mosque, which is a record.
