Israel: Juma Ibrahim Abu Ghanimah, an Israeli citizen who waged jihad against Israel together with the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas, was martyred in an Israeli prison.
According to international media reports, 26-year-old Israeli citizen Juma Ibrahim Abu Ghanimah, a resident of Hashem Zeina village in the northern Negev region of Israel, went to Gaza and joined Hamas in 2016. He joined Hamas against the Israeli army. Also participated in many operations.
Juma Abu Ghanimah was arrested by the Israeli army during the recent war in Gaza and imprisoned in Israel’s Eshel prison, where he was found dead in his cell on Saturday, March 16.
In this regard, Palestinian sources say that Juma Ibrahim Abu Ghanima was martyred by torture in an Israeli prison.
On the other hand, Israeli media say that Juma Ibrahim Abu Ghanimah was charged with serious security charges, due to which he was ordered to be kept in jail until the legal proceedings are over.
According to Israeli media, in the charge sheet filed against Juma Ibrahim Abu Ghanimah, he was accused of meeting with the leader of the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas in July 2016 and expressing his desire to join Hamas.
The charge sheet said that Juma Ibrahim Abu Ghanimah provided information regarding the location of Israeli forces bases in southern Israel during a meeting with Hamas officials and also received military training while staying with Hamas for three months.
The Israeli media added that according to the charge sheet, in these three months, Hamas also trained Juma Ibrahim Abu Ghanima to occupy Israeli army posts.
