Just 3 days are left for the start of the ninth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) but the excitement is increasing with each passing day.
Before the start of the ninth season, let us tell you some unique records, which have been created by various players.
Record for most matches played
The name of former national team fast and current chief selector bowler Wahab Riaz representing Peshawar Zalmi in PSL is included, who has played the most matches (88) while Karachi is second with (81) matches. Kings are the country.
Former captain of Quetta Gladiators Sarfaraz Ahmed is third in this list, he has won the honor of playing (80).
Most wickets
Wahab Riaz is the all-time top wicket taker in PSL with 113 wickets in 88 matches, Hasan Ali is second with 94 wickets and Shaheen Shah Afridi is third with 89 wickets in 62 matches.
Most centuries
Former Peshawar Zalmi player and one of the best batsmen in PSL, Kamran Akmal scored 3 centuries in 7 seasons, which is the most. Behind him are Jason Roy, Sharjeel Khan, Riley Russo and Fakhar Zaman who have scored 2 centuries each.
Most sixes in an innings
Ben Dunk of Lahore Qalandars is the player to hit most sixes in an innings in PSL 2020 season, he achieved this feat twice. He hit 12 sixes against Karachi Kings and 10 sixes against Quetta Gladiators in one innings, but he is not a part of PSL this season.
It should be noted that the ninth season of PSL will start from February 17, while the final of the event is scheduled for March 18 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
