In the clash with Hezbollah in Lebanon, 5 Israeli army personnel were killed and 19 were injured, of which 4 are said to be in critical condition.
According to Israeli media, those killed in the clashes with Hezbollah include Major Dean Maury, Officer Omri Lotan, Warrant Officer Aidan, Cpt Alvin Safrai and Master Sergeant Tom Siegel.
Local media said Israeli soldiers entered a building in a Lebanese village hit by a rocket fired by Hezbollah as the troops were accepting a supply delivery.
On the other hand, the Israeli army says that Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets at the “meeting point” to deliver military equipment, one of which hit the building where the soldiers were stationed.
The rockets also hit members of the logistics convoy supplying the troops with equipment. A total of 19 personnel were injured, of which 4 are said to be in serious condition.
