The Israeli army raided a school in the northern Gaza area of Zeyton, during which a powerful explosion occurred in a street, killing four soldiers and injuring many, including an officer. The condition of several injured is critical due to which the death toll is likely to rise.
The dead soldiers were identified as Sergeant Ete Leoni, Yusuf Dasa; Sergeant Armias Macorio, born Sergeant Daniel Levy. The four belonged to the 931st Battalion of the Nihal Brigade.
In another incident, two more Israeli soldiers were seriously injured in a rocket attack on a tank in Rafah, southern Gaza.
