With the support of SIFC, the country’s pharma sector exports have increased by 31%.
According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, pharmaceutical exports have been recorded at $105.936 million, while during the same period of the last fiscal year, these exports were $80.796 million.
On a year-on-year basis, pharmaceutical exports have increased by 61.55% compared to the previous year, while on a month-on-month basis, pharmaceutical exports have increased by 53.78% during September 2024 compared to exports in August 2024.
As a result of the capacity of the industrial sector and the provision of a favorable export environment thanks to the policy-level measures of SIFC, measures to attract foreign investment are yielding positive results, which is witnessing a significant increase in exports in various sectors.
