The full name of this organization is Nihon gensuibaku higaisha dantai kyōgi-kai, which is abbreviated as Nihon Hidankyo Group.
The main purpose of this organization was to pressure the Japanese government to rehabilitate and care for the victims of the atomic bomb attack and to lobby governments to abolish nuclear weapons.
