Security forces killed 17 terrorists in 2 operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to ISPR, the security forces took effective action on the hideout of terrorists in the operation conducted in Tank district, as a result of which 10 terrorists were killed.
The second clash took place in Bagh area of Khyber district in which security forces killed 7 terrorists and injured two terrorists.
Five young men were martyred during the fierce exchange of fire, including 32-year-old Naik Mohammad Ashfaq Butt (resident of Kahota district), 30-year-old Lance Naik Syed Danish Afkar (Poonch district), 32-year-old Sepoy Taimur Malik (Leh), 22-year-old Sepoy Nader Sagheer. (Bagh) and 23-year-old soldier Muhammad Yasin (Khushab) are included.

The slain terrorists were active in several acts of terror against security forces as well as civilians. Huge quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from their possession.
It should be noted that yesterday, security forces conducted an operation in Hasan Khel area of Peshawar on the information of the presence of terrorists, in which 6 terrorists were killed and 3 were injured. .
In total, the number of terrorists killed in the operation of forces in two days has increased to 23.
