KARACHI: Star batsman Jo Root has created a new history by becoming the first player to score more than 1000 runs in all three periods of the ICC Test Championship.
Root scored 87 runs in the first innings of the third Test against West Indies, taking his tally to 1023 runs in 13 matches played in the ongoing Test Championship.
