10 new additional judges of Peshawar High Court took oath of their posts.
The oath-taking ceremony of additional judges was held at Peshawar High Court, Chief Justice Peshawar High Court administered oath to 10 new additional judges.
A large number of lawyers, in addition to judges of the High Court and subordinate judiciary, attended the ceremony. The new judges have assumed their duties from today and have also started hearing cases.
Six new judges have been added to the six divisional benches of Peshawar High Court, while four judges have been assigned the responsibility of single benches.
Justice Tariq Afridi, Justice Abdul Fayaz, Justice Farah Jamshed, Justice Inamullah, Justice Sabitullah Khan, Justice Salahuddin, Justice Sadiq Ali, Justice Mudassar Amir, Justice Aurangzeb and Justice Qazi Jawad Ehsan have taken oath as additional judges of Peshawar High Court.
