ISLAMABAD: The Caretaker Ministers of Interior and Information have said that the results are not being changed and the winning of independent candidates is a proof that the elections have been transparent.
This was said by caretaker Interior Minister Gohar Ejaz and Information Minister Murtaza Solangi while holding a press conference in Islamabad.
Gohar Ejaz said that the government’s responsibility is to protect lives, 28 people died in terrorist incidents before the elections, time devices were used in the attacks, both attacks were not suicide attacks, both attacks were carried out with detonators. He said that before the election, 28 lives were lost, many polling stations were attacked, mobile and internet shutdown was not an easy decision, the protection of citizens was the most important for us and we will do such decisions again.
On the question of the change of the results, he said that there was no significant difference between the results of the night and the morning, the result was the same at the time of dawn. People had trouble finding the polling station, of course, but it is also important that no mother was killed, don’t spread whispers, our mill has to stay away from whisperers, whisperers are dividing our nation. .
Information Minister Solangi said that mobile phones were blocked yesterday but the internet was not blocked, there was no ban on the internet or on social media, those who were abusing yesterday are still abusing today, the suspension of the internet or the separation of Pakistan.
