Leaders of the Sunni Alliance Council lashed out at the ruling alliance and raised questions over the presidential election.
Speaking to the media outside the Parliament House, Barrister Gauhar said that the king of corrupt elements is being imposed on the country.
Asad Qaiser said that the whole process was made controversial, while Barrister Ali Zafar said that when the issue of reserved seats was in the courts, how were these people allowed to vote.
PTI leaders said that Shahbaz Sharif became the Prime Minister on a fake mandate, today Zardari Sahib will also become the President with fake votes. It is not a matter of reconciliation, but the king of Asif Zardari is being imposed on the country.
He termed the presidential election as controversial, while Tehreek-e-Insaf General Secretary Umar Aywab said that those who were rejected by the people are being given positions in a fake manner.
Barrister Gauhar said that occupying constitutional positions in an unconstitutional manner is a violation of the constitution, the first 2 families were in control of the country’s resources, now they are going to control the democratic institutions as well.
Asad Qaiser said that presidential elections are illegal when the assembly is incomplete, they are fighting a legal battle, and will go to the people. Aamir Dugar said that they have stolen our mandate, despite the concerns of Senator Ali Zafar, he said that these are controversial elections.
Spokesperson of Tehreek-e-Insaf says that a peaceful protest will be held across the country tomorrow to take back the stolen mandate.
