The anti-terrorism court of Rawalpindi granted bail to Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rasheed.
The Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court heard the bail application in the May 9 case against former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed. The court granted Sheikh Rasheed’s bail application and directed Sheikh Rasheed to submit a surety bond of Rs.
The court ordered that Sheikh Rasheed be released if he is not wanted in any other case. During the hearing of the case, Sheikh Rasheed’s lawyers appeared in the court, but no one appeared on behalf of the prosecution, on which the court expressed indignation.
