The world’s most powerful telescope, the James Webb Telescope, was finally launched in 2021 after some delays, moving into its intended orbit around the Sun in January 2022.
Since its launch, the telescope has captured some of the most stunning images, many of which are so detailed that they have helped scientists explain and understand events in parts of the universe.
Below are the top 5 images taken by the James Webb Telescope that scientists say are the most amazing and beautiful images that tell a lot about the universe.
1) The galaxy NGC 1433, also known as the Seyfert galaxy.
2) A source of space gases and dust (nebula) which is about 7600 light years away from Earth.
3) Pillars of Creation: It is made up of cold molecules of space and hydrogen. It is named after its appearance.
4) Rho Ophiuchi: The birth scene of a star very close to Earth (390 light-years away).
5) This is a picture of a small part of the entire universe showing a cluster of millions of galaxies.
