Riyadh: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his American counterpart Anthony Blanken had a telephone conversation.
The two leaders discussed the situation in Gaza, Yemen and Sudan.
According to Saudi media, the purpose of the US Secretary of State’s visit to the Middle East is to increase diplomatic pressure for a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
It should be noted that US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken arrived in Tel Aviv yesterday on a visit to the Middle East.
In Tel Aviv, the US Secretary of State will meet with senior Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Netanyahu.
The Saudi media further says that US Foreign Minister Blankenship will arrive in Egypt from Tel Aviv.
