Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed’s request to hold a meeting at Shablal Haveli on August 13 was rejected.
Former Federal Minister Sheikh Rasheed had applied for permission to hold a meeting in Shablal Haveli on August 13, which was rejected by the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi.
The district administration says that due to the law and order situation and security concerns, they cannot allow the public gathering.
After the request was rejected, Sheikh Rasheed said in a video statement that we have been stopped from the rally on August 13, which I regret.
He said that we don’t want a fight, we don’t want to see the problems of the poor worker, I am the first and only politician of Pakistan who cut the children’s jail, used to teach third and fourth grade children in Haripur jail.
