Mumbai: Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan won the best actor award for his super hit film ‘Jawan’.
According to Indian media, the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards (DPIFF) 2024 ceremony was held in Mumbai on February 20, where Shah Rukh Khan was awarded the Best Actor award for his film ‘Jawan’.
Shah Rukh Khan while receiving his award said that I want to thank all the jury members who considered me worthy of the best actor award. I will not receive this award.
He said that he is very happy to get the best actor award, I like awards very much, I am a bit greedy when it comes to awards.
The Bollywood King also thanked the director, producers, co-actors, writer and cast and crew members of ‘Jawan’ for receiving the award.
Shah Rukh Khan said, “I am happy that fans have reached my work, but here I would like to say that the work of an artist is not important, but the hard work of all the people around him creates any masterpiece.”
He concluded his speech by saying, “I promise that I will continue to work hard and make fans in India and abroad happy with my work, even if I have to be the bad guy in my role.” You have to be a good person. God willing, I will continue to work hard.
