US President Joe Biden said in a TV interview that the hostages must be released first for peace in Gaza. Ramadan is approaching and Israel has promised not to bomb during this time.
The American president further said that Saudi Arabia and other countries are ready to recognize Israel as a state in case of a cease-fire in Gaza. A ceasefire in Gaza will provide an opportunity to move in the direction that Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and other countries are ready to recognize Israel as a state.
As a result of the Israeli bombardment in Gaza since October 7, 2023, 29 thousand 878 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 70 thousand have been injured.
