ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission has suspended the concerned RO and ordered an inquiry for allegedly issuing another woman notification on certain JUI seats.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam had filed an application in the Election Commission in which they had taken a position that the Election Commission had issued a notification to a woman named Sadaf Ehsan on our reserved seat, while a woman named Sadaf Ehsan is neither a party member nor This name is in our list, the notification of Sadaf Ehsan should be canceled and the notification of Hina Bibi should be issued and the notification of alien woman should be investigated.
On the request of JUI, the Election Commission of Pakistan has suspended the concerned returning officer and ordered an investigation. The submission included the name of a lady named Sadaf Yasmeen and the full name of the lady who submitted the nomination papers is Sadaf Ehsan and she is a resident of Lucky Marwat.
JUI has filed an application in Election Commission that Sadaf Ehsan is not their candidate but Sadaf Yasmeen is their candidate. Whereas Sadaf Yasmin did not submit any nomination papers to the Election Commission. Therefore, notices have been issued to all the concerned persons to resolve this dispute and an open hearing of the case has been decided to resolve the issue. .
The commission has also ordered an inquiry into the entire incident to get to the bottom of the matter.
