Qatar Announces Free Visa-on-Arrival Facility for Pakistani Tourists
Qatar has announced free tourist visas on arrival for Pakistani citizens, allowing eligible travellers to visit the country without obtaining a visa in advance.
Qatar has introduced a free visa-on-arrival facility for Pakistani tourists, offering a stay of up to 30 days, according to details shared by the Ministry of Interior.
However, Pakistani travellers must meet four mandatory requirements to benefit from the facility.
According to the Ministry of Interior, applicants must hold a passport with at least three months of validity remaining at the time of travel. A confirmed return ticket is also compulsory.
Travellers must also provide a confirmed hotel reservation made exclusively through Qatar’s official tourism website, Discover Qatar. Hotel bookings made through other online travel agencies or reservation platforms will not be accepted under this facility.
In addition, Pakistani visitors are required to obtain health insurance from an approved insurance company before travelling to Qatar.
The free visa-on-arrival facility allows eligible Pakistani nationals to stay in Qatar for up to 30 days. However, the permitted duration of stay may also be determined according to the hotel reservation.
Authorities have advised travellers to fulfil all four conditions before departure, warning that failure to meet the requirements could result in them being denied the visa-on-arrival facility.
