Multan Sultans, the leading franchise of Pakistan Super League (PSL), suffered a major setback.
The franchise has confirmed that English fast bowler Ollie Stone has been ruled out of the current PSL edition due to a right back injury.
The franchise will apply for a substitute player to replace Ole Stone, who is out of the tournament due to injury.
The English cricketer suffered an injury in his very first match against Islamabad United on February 20. He could not even complete the remaining two balls of the fourth over and walked off the field.
The team of Multan Sultans is currently in the first position on the points table in the ninth edition of PSL, but they have to take the field against Peshawar Zalmi today.
