Quetta Gladiators has provided an update regarding the availability of foreign players for the ninth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Gladiators Head of Player Acquisition Nabil Hashmi says that the newly elected captain Riley Russo, Jason Roy, Sherifan Rutherford, Lori Evans, Akil Hussain and Will Smid will be available for the first match, however, the availability of Sri Lankan Venendu Hasringa is still pending. There is a question mark.
Lincoln spinner Hasringa was supposed to play the first 5 matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) but due to the series schedule against Afghanistan, he will not be available for the first 2 matches.
Venindu Hasringa will be a part of PSL 9 for just three matches but there is no sign of him as the Lincoln Board has not yet issued him a NOC for the league.
It should be noted that Quetta will play its first match against Peshawar Zalmi at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on February 18.
