Lahore: The accused opened fire on the clerk for stopping him from teasing a girl in Punjab University.
According to the details, in Punjab University, the obscene youth teased the girl, on which Clerk Anas tried to stop him.
The accused got enraged and opened fire on the university employee, as a result of which he got injured and then the accused escaped. According to the police, the condition of the injured employee is out of danger.
The Punjab University spokesperson said that the injured clerk was performing duty in the sociology department.
Meanwhile, SP Iqbal Town Akhlaqullah Tarar directed the SHO Muslim Town to arrest the accused immediately, while the Muslim Town Police immediately reached the spot on receiving the information about the incident.
According to the police, when the employee stopped the accused, he opened fire and the bullet hit Anas’ arm.
SP Iqbal Town said that all resources including Safe City cameras, CCTV cameras are being used, the accused will be arrested as soon as possible.
