Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court summoned Acting Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar on Monday, February 19, in the case of non-recovery of Baloch students.
During the hearing, Assistant Attorney General Usman Ghaman said that one more student out of the 12 has been recovered. He said that the Attorney General is not available today and the hearing should be postponed.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked that the punishment for enforced disappearances should be death penalty and the people involved should get two or four death sentences. The Caretaker Prime Minister should appear in person on Monday at 10 am and tell why a case should not be registered against him.
The court rejected the request of the assistant attorney to postpone the hearing and summoned the caretaker prime minister on the morning of February 19.
