Islamabad: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Mehmood Achakzai has refused to represent Imran Khan in negotiations with the establishment.
In his statement on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Khawaja Asif said that Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the founder of PTI, will represent him in negotiations with the establishment. I said in the night TV show that it is not possible in my knowledge.
He said that I asked Mahmood Khan Achakzai this question today in the meeting in the National Assembly, his answer was negative that he cannot play this role.
Khawaja Asif said that PTI founder’s proposal as usual is frivolous, devoid of sincerity and nothing but political maneuvering.
