Karachi: The newly elected Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, called cricketer Muhammad Aamir to get information about the Multan Stadium incident.
National cricketer Mohammad Amir said in a post on social media platform X that Maryam Nawaz took notice of the incident that happened with her family at the stadium and took her precious time to call me, for which I am grateful to her.
Muhammad Aamir wrote that ‘Deputy Commissioner Multan has also personally cleared all my misunderstandings’ I appreciate your (Maryam Nawaz) efforts and wish you all the best in your new journey.
It should be remembered that earlier Mohammad Amir had accused Deputy Commissioner Multan of allegedly abusing his family during the match and demanded Maryam Nawaz to take notice of the matter.
Mohammad Aamir wrote in his post that Deputy Commissioner Multan arrogantly claimed ownership of the ground and threw him out during the match unjustifiably, this abuse of power in uniform is intolerable.
